With a passion for both rigorous analysis and people, Edward enjoys implementing and fine-tuning processes that help his colleagues serve clients at ever-increasing levels of excellence and efficiency. He looks at operational excellence from varied perspectives, aiming to optimize the connections between people, processes, finance and technology.

Edward has hands-on experience in a number of our industry verticals and in several functional areas — from operations to sales to finance. This rich background of experience allows us to differentiate ourselves from traditional private equity firms, and to transform our companies by maximizing their values over time.

When not directly supporting our external efforts, Edward advises our internal teams on strategy, and process decisions. His love for business is second only to his desire to create a work environment where team members push each other to be their best selves, and develop professionally and personally. Edward strives to lead Filion Capital with passion, integrity, vision and perseverance.

A Dallas native, Edward holds an MBA with a concentration in Strategic Management and a mention in Finance from the Texas Southern University Jesse H. Jones School of Business and Bachelors degrees in Liberal Arts and Business Management from the University of Texas at Austin.
